A European Directive

European directive that promotes Pan European plans

Company pension plans are developing throughout Europe and are increasingly adopting the defined contribution principle. A directive was ratified in 2003 to encourage the creation of Pan European plans that will allow groups to harmonize their corporate policy in their European subsidiaries and facilitate their employees’ mobility.

Since December 2006, the transposition of this directive into French law has made PERCO available in Europe.

On June 27, 2007, the Société Générale group, already a leader in implementing international employee share ownership solutions, endowed itself with a structure dedicated to promoting PERCO type European pension solutions in order to further assist you with your retirement plans.
